Zero Kyomusei is a 17 year old that lives by herself in Karakura town after her Mother passes away. As her and her friend walk home from school one night they are attacked by a strange looking monster. Zero, left alone after she tells her friend to run, is bitten by the monster. Fearing death, Zero is saved by a strange boy with bright, orange she then comes to know as Ichigo Kurosaki. As Ichigo and Zero grow closer and closer, they begin to fall in love with each other. However, when Zero is approached by Ichigo's twin brother Hichigo she is drawn to his insanity and touch. Torn between the two vampires, Zero becomes confused on who to choose.

Cassidy is an average 17 year old junior in high school. She's on her schools cross-country team and is occasionally on the honor roll.
