War. A horrid thing. The races had been in a war with the Demon Clan for as long as history has told. No one knew how the war started. Most blamed the demons and always were ill toward them. Everyone couple of thousands of years a new Demon King must be crowned. Once a new king is crowned the Demon Clan become more powerful. This was a problem for the other races, they knew the time was coming up but they also knew another thing. The way a Demon King was crowned, was when they found their 'mate'. A Demon Prince would have to find their chosen 'mate'. The 'mate' would grow a mark to warn them what was to come, lucky for the other races they already had captured one of the three 'mates' because she was the third princess of the Human Clan. Elizabeth's POV I walk down the silent hall quickly, looking up from the ground for nothing at all. Every footstep I take is echoed against the walls, straight back down to my feet. All of the sudden, I bump into somebody. My books and papers fly all over the place. Quickly, I look up at the blonde, green eyed boy, standing in front of me. He smiles at me. "I am so sorry!" I say nervously. "No need to apologize! I need to watch where I'm going next time." He says, winking at me. I smile as he hands me my books and papers that fell on the floor. "Thank you so so much! I thought you would've been mad!" I add, scratching the back of my head. "Nah, I wouldn't get mad over an accident... oh yeah, I'm Meliodas!" He finishes. "I'm Elizabeth! Nice to meet you!" I add. Wow.... Meliodas.......

Meliodas and Elizabeth have been together since birth. They were born at the same time, in the same room. The first thing they did when they opened their eyes was look at each other. When they turned 6 they were separated. Will fate bring these two together again?
