I don't know why I'm even doing this. I guess I just want it down to remember never to return to you? As if you'll want me back. You made it clear the day you said you were leaving me that you wanted to, as you put it, get on with your life. I sometimes wonder whether I should have gone after you and insisted and kissed you in the downpour. But I think I'm glad I didn't. I would have made a fool of myself. --- Every collection of "Days" constitutes a chapter. Chapter sizes can vary greatly.
