Every demon has their own unique way of tormenting, maiming and murdering their victims. Derrick's signature is tying up his girls and suspending them off the ground like morbid dolls. Now he has marked naïve Kate for death. Follow her frightening decent into hell as she struggles to stay pure. Praise from cold_lady19: "I really like this. The only life under thinking, confused Maroon remembers, is her life with Viva. Maroon's life takes a dramatic turn when she wakes up to discover her vampire true love Viva missing and all her vampire friends dead, littered across the cold ground. Not wanting to be the next one to die, Maroon flees helplessly for her life, only to be stopped by a werewolf, then saved by another. Losing everything, Maroon gets taken to the pack home of the Werewolf Leader Caleb and is forced to stay there. What will happen when Maroon starts to get feelings for a werewolf, when she is still in love with an vampire? Is she to forever live with werewolves, or will her vampire true love come to rescue her? And if he does, will Maroon want to leave Caleb?

He had spent centuries with only himself for company, he fed, tortured and killed that was his life and he liked it that way, until she came along and stirred something in him, something he couldn't and wouldn't accept. “If I were you I’d keep that stake sharp. Don’t expect anymore visits like this, next time I come I expect you to use that thing,” he told her pointing to the stake on the bed, and then he was gone.
