COMPLETED "I think you're hiding something," he said accusingly, his voice low and dangerous. "I think you're crazy," I retorted. My heart was beating rapidly. ~ When you lead a life kept to the shadows- metaphorically and physically- it can be hard to make friends. I'm not going to say I was a loser, a complete outcast at my school. In fact, there was no one that I shared a hatred with. My life, which was more or less secretive, was completely shaken when Emmett Dean rocked himself into my world. Completely uninvited, might I add. And all he did was spill his spaghetti on me. ~ Coves are encouraged! Highest Ranking: #14 - 9/27/17 *UNEDITED featured by Teen Fiction

"The Blind God walks around me, and I feel my mind prodded again like it was in the cavern, a spider weaving a tangled web. "Would you do anything to be remembered, Ode, even play a villain, the one who rises against the Chosen One?" In answer, I draw my dagger and make a slight incision against my thumb. Blood drips down, hot against my flesh. I hold my hand out as an oath, a promise. My ghouls hiss, yearning to drink. "I would rather reign over darkness than grovel as a servant to the light." *FEMALE ROBIN HOOD MEETS ONE THOUSAND AND ONE NIGHTS* Ode Ngayoh is the only child of a bloodthirsty desert warlord. When the Blind God chooses her as champion, she's deemed a dark witch, a blemish against the Empire for her necromantic powers of summoning ghūls, the undead. Facing off against the prince and his handsome lover, Ode stands alone with the cursed god's favor. However, the more Ode defends the outcasts of the Empire, the more she finds herself being labelled a villain... [COMPLETED!] (Sequel to How to be a Queen) Aerith and Hades already have their fairytale ending. They've also been blessed with twins: Aidon and Aurea. I'm Aurea by the way and this is my story. When I was born, the Fates declared that me and my brother will live a difficult life. And I guess they were right for we were both born with no powers. We were two new immortals who cannot be a god and a goddess for we had no powers. Is this a curse? Nah. Maybe we were just born this way or maybe we were just late bloomers? I sure hope so. Oh, one more thing. When my brother and I turned eighteen, the Three Fates came to our party and allowed us each a question. Being a naive little girl, I asked. "Who will I share eternity with?" They answered with: "You are meant for death." Well what did they mean with that? Am I meant to die? Will I ever get my powers? Will I ever find someone who'll love me? Will I get the fairytale ending my parents have? ***Credits to @DarkLeague for the cover***

**shortlisted for Wattys2017** Technically speaking, I died when I was seventeen. What should have been just another typical day out on the water with my friends, turned ugly fast when a freak storm came out of nowhere and I was thrown overboard. Had it not been for my damned dress, I could have swam to safety, but no, every day had to be a fashion show, and my dress got caught on rocks, holding me down until I drowned. I thought right before I died I would at least get to see a montage of my fabulous life, all the parties and romantic dates with my perfect boyfriend, Asher, but nope again. Instead, all I saw was a hideous sea monster smiling to me as my lungs filled with water. When I woke up in a cave in the middle of the ocean, that sea witch made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I could go back to my perfect life, and my adorable boyfriend, all I had to do was give the sea witch two years of my service, and then she'd free me from my fate. It seemed easy enough at the time, but can the price to live actually come at too high of a cost? Highest rank #5 in paranormal

[Highest Rank: #3 in Romance] "Tell me to kiss you," he whispered so quiet and husk I wouldn't have heard if he wasn't my main focus of attention. "No," I protested knowing good and well that I've never wanted anything more. "Tell me," his other hand slid under his hoodie, his cold finger tips a contrast on my hot body, his lips leaning in to whisper in my ear, "to kiss you." His eyes pulled back and studied my face. I leaned in close, my lips barely touching his. "No," the stretch of my lips making a bit more contact with his. I heard him growl. And then it was as if a gust of wind blew out the candles and everything went cold, including the once occupied space in front of me. He was gone and I was left alone in the dark. ______________________ They say drowning is a peaceful death, one of the best ways to die, if there is even a good way to die at all. They say it's like falling asleep, the calm feeling of water flooding your lungs as the flow of oxygen ceases and you pass from earth to wherever we go after this life. I however, beg to differ. ______________________ When a blue eyed girl stumbles into the town of Wrustles and almost drowns she becomes the talk of the town.. and the chatter of the sea. After being convinced that someone in the water saved her she jumps again, only to find the harsh waves and a face. A face she knew would find her beneath the crashing water above her. A face she believed in before she even knew it existed. ______________________ I update hella frequently! And my chapters are what some would consider short but I promise it's worth it and it allows really frequent updates! ♡ ______________________
