John feels almost completely alone. His parents won't acknowledge his problems and his friends all seem to prefer other people over him. He feels like the only one who cares is his best friend, Eliza. Eliza is constantly worried about John. She knows about his problems, and tries her best to help him through it, but she feels like it's not enough. All she wants is for John to be happy again. Alex is haunted by his past. He'd come to America to escape it, but memories continue to plague him and Thomas Jefferson seems adamant on finding everything he can about Alex's life before he moved just so he can use it against him. Alex just wants a friend who doesn't know about his past and won't treat him like something that must be handled gently, lest it crumble to dust.

(Warning: this fic may include lots of crying and a really unexpected plot twist.) I have a problem. I don't know why I'm writing this, and I have no clue how it's going to work, but whatever. Basically, I'm putting the entire Hamilton squad into high school and making them just really into student council. Help me I'm obsessed.
