Moving to a whole new planet was something I never envisioned... Until the world crumbled. Left with no family, no hope. All I wanted was death. That was when they arrived. The ZILONS Huge blue bodied aliens with hair violet, like my name. They saved us and because of the safety they provided, I got a new family. That was suppose to be enough... why then did my heart long for more, for what was beyond the city they had built for us? The moment I met him, I knew the reason why. We needed to find each other to be whole again.

Three Spacecraft, two-hundred-and-forty colonists, twenty-five trillion miles and a discovery that changes everything. "Astronomicon: Inception Point" follows the human race's intrepid first steps into interstellar space, a colonisation mission to Proxima Centauri. The colossal distance and harsh environment are not all that stands between them and survival. This first volume in the epic Astronomicon series is the story of their desperate adventures and the political machinations that are unfolding back on Earth, which threaten to end space exploration permanently. With colonies on Mars and a thriving mining community around Jupiter, will everyone want to come home? ------------------------------------------------------- This is a complete rewrite from scratch of the first novel in the Astronomicon series. It's effectively the same story with many of the same characters (as it must fit with book 2 obviously) but there's LOTS of new stuff, the Elysian spacecraft has been completely redesigned and there are a few new twists added. The science has been hugely improved, the pacing tightened up and I've worked more on character development. Please comment on any chapters you like (or don't like!). I'm particularly interested to hear how this new version compares to the original. And don't forget, if you DON'T like a chapter, please DON'T vote for it! Books #1, #2 and #3 are out on Amazon. If you would like to support my writing, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE leave a review there!!!

Nova Jone's life changed dramatically upon discovery that she was the long-lost daughter of notorious pirate, Dahjlonica, and the former delinquent orphan became a pirate princess. She and her father made a profitable living raiding shipments between worlds, especially from the Hahn family, the most ruthless of warlords that rose after the Sol Commonwealth abandoned the Orion Outlands and consolidated within the inner worlds. Nova had a high price on her head. And as if that wasn't enough, the Commonwealth were coming back to reclaim the Outlands, and they had little regard for piracy. Elite Ranger Jake Barton led the way, with orders to eliminate Nova Jones. But as he tracked Nova, doubts grew in his mind. Who was the true villain?

In the confines of space, where life is controlled, calculated, and restricted, a young man by the name of Elias Thorton yearns for something more. Restless beneath the glow of artificial sunlight and the steady supply of recycled air, he refuses to spend the rest of his days stuck within the walls of the colony. And while driven by a deep hunger for adventure and discovery, he trades safety for the unknown and joins the Colonial Navy in hopes of finally being able to chase after his dream. From the dusty orbit of Mars to high-speed chases around the moon, Elias embarks on a journey that stretches across the solar system. A journey that will test his courage, his convictions, and the very core of who he is. What begins as a bold escape from the mundane soon transforms into a lifetime of service, sacrifice, and self-discovery. As Elias rises through the ranks, he faces the brutal realities of war, the unbreakable bonds of love, and the crushing weight of command. Dreams Beyond the Void is a sweeping science fiction epic of ambition, endurance, and legacy, where one man's journey reflects the enduring strength of the human spirit in the face of the infinite. Earth has become over populated. Food and other essentials are in short supply. Crime is at a all time high. The solution was to colonize Mars. The year is 2125 and the population on earth has reached almost 11 billion people. Farming and ranch land is being replaced by large housing towers. Most of these consisted of small apartments that had to share a bathroom. Showers were limited to four minutes and if you were lucky, you got slightly warm water. This is where most people lived unless they were rich. Even they had to deal with food shortages and power blackouts. All this has led to major food shortages. Wars are being fought not for land or power but for food and resources. The crime rate is higher than it's ever been. Looters and gangs ran ramped. It got so bad that a law was passed that allowed business owners to hire armed guards and could shoot to kill anyone stealing from them. it was decided anyone convicted of a crime and sentenced to more than thirty years in prison would be an automatic death penalty. No matter how severe the laws and penalties got the crime rate never slowed down. To slow down the population growth down one child per family was passed and you could only have a child if you could get a permit from your government. Only a small number of permits were issued each year. Anyone having a child without a permit is sent to prison. Until the population dropped back to under 8 billion nothing was going to change. Nobody drove cars anymore because gas was $18.00 a gallon, a pound of hamburger meat was $32.00 $3.00 for a slice of bread. For those with electric cars it costs almost $200.00 to charge them. things here in Texas are bad but not as bad as cities like los Angeles.
