Els is mistreated and misunderstood by many but she has decided to only let those who are close to her affect her. While being brought down with stones by the members of her village, her heads are in the clouds and all that she dreams of is being a skilled monster hunter. In the Kingdom in which she lives ruled by the dark royal family, the gates of the castle open at night-time to release some of the most terrifying monsters upon the villages. Els and all of the villages have had enough and have started sending out patrols, and though she is not part of her village's patrol she dreams to be one of the heroes. One day, she rescues a boy, and sees herself reflect completely into someone else.
