In this large city, people are celebrating after a successful Hunt, a survival game where a law offender is thrown out into the wilderness to survive until a Hunter comes for them. The whole thing is screened on televisions across the city, and Nobles allow everyone to take time off from work to watch the Hunt. Everyone has been brainwashed into thinking that these events are perfectly ok and provide great entertainment. What they don't realize is that the "offenders" could have committed such a small crime as looking at a Noble wrong. But who cares? It's all in good fun, right? Welcome to a world where survival of the fittest plays a key role in everything, welcome to Apocalyte.
