When Freedom Fighter Nara meets Aang, Katara and Sokka she quickly realises that Aang is the Avatar and that her leader, Jet, isn't as good as he makes himself out to be. She ends up travelling with the three friends, bound for the North Pole. No one is quite sure what to make of each other. Nara has learned to be ruthless and calculating and is taken aback by Aang's endless cheer.
