She never was envious of her best friend's career, but always craved the attention and love that he received from his fans. Yes, that's it. Annabeth's goal in life was to love someone, and be loved back by them. But unfortunately, that wasn't going to happen when you were on an on/off relationship with someone as cold hearted as Luke, her celebrity boyfriend. Annabeth still loved Luke, and she couldn't let go of him. In need of emotional support, she calls Percy. Then one video and one plan changed it all.

completed! (but still very poorly written) in which a girl changes the path of her whole life after one night. (please be aware that this book is not very good. i started it years ago and finished years later, so the beginning to end will have a few inconsistencies in writing style and stuff like that. as well as it is in general very poorly written) SINCE SOME PEOPLE STILL DO NOT UNDERSTAND: this book sucks. so does percy's character. don't act like i haven't warned you and then act like i claim it's faithful to who canon!percy actually is.

He lives in the highest castle tower, and is forced into hiding. He cannot be seen, for he is the spitting image of his father, the king. And his father doesn't know that he exists. ANNABETH is a commoner. She has lived in the village for her whole life, until her father becomes one of the king's personal guards. Her family is moved into the castle with the rest of the staff, and she feels very out of place. That is, until her father saves the king's life, earning him one wish to be granted. He asks for Prince Triton to be married to Annabeth, making her next in line to be queen. She is terrified by the news. Anyway, being the curious soul that she is, she explores every inch of the castle. However, she is forbidden to ever go up in the tower in the eastern wing of the castle.
