The Mekai are a race of super-human warriors, spread throughout the world. They each obtain the power to control the elements and other forms of great wonder. Beings divided by "light" and "darkness", they have been thought of as being angels for over two millennia.... Ray is a 16-year-old Mekai with a major problem- he's cursed. If he fails to kill the evil Ren, a fellow Mekai with a lust for world domination, by the end of spring then he, himself, will die. Burdened with the curse of his sworn enemy, Ray's world-wide odyssey has led him tot he famous Central Kingdom- a place that is shrouded in a dark cloud. Soon, not only does Ray have to find a way to end Ren's curse but, with the friends he gains along the way, he has to protect Central Kingdom and the entire world from Ren's evil advances. Will he and his team succeed, or will the world succumb to Ren's most destructive of forces, the Thunder Brothers?
