It deviates a bit from the original story. I do not own any Hobbit characters. They belong to J.R.R Tolkien. After sixty-seven years of careful planning Thea escapes from the captivity of orcs, bringing a newly captured Thranduil with her. This walled in girl is given a place as a servant in the court of the elven king. But after many years a company of dwarves makes an appearance and disappearance from Thranduil's dungeons. After finding out that Thea was a help to them he banishes her and finds out what it's like to lose without losing and find his way back. Ayesha is a daughter of her very wealthy father, who works with the king. Ayesha wasn't like other Mirkwood Elves. She enjoyed reading and was always practicing her skills with weapons. When her father and her move to Mirkwood, she meets the Mirkwood king, Thranduil. They both are taken by each other. Thranduil especially is intrigued by her. What will become of their love? A village is attacked, leaving only one survivor. Forced to flee for her life, she ends up in Mirkwood. There she meets a handsome elf - King Thranduil. As darkness encroaches ever so slowly on Mirkwood, will they be able to find the source, and stop it, before it's too late?

Behind all of this, there is evil stirring in Middle-Earth, royal affairs and high class gossip, and a company of dwarves makes it's way across the land. Asachiel is a young elf who has exiled herself from her old life in Greenwood. Now a dark mystery threatens the village of men she has been living in. Her only option is to return to the elfen realm and beg the handsome yet cold and strong-willed king Thranduil to rescue the villagers and assist her in finding out what is going on. However, they have a shared past, and things don't go quite as planned.

A simple, complicated, love-hate feud: that's what Thranduil and Idriel's relationship can be described as. They can't even look at each other without a scowl. That is, until Idriel's realm is in danger of disappearing and Thranduil is the only one who could possibly help her.

Emma Fields led a happy life. She had her fiancee, her books, her forest.. but it all fell to pieces when she found that her fiancee was cheating. In want of solitude, she climbed a tree, and fell. Being a king is hard. Raising a son is hard. Living with eternal grief is hard. King Thranduil is just trying to keep his kingdom running and his son safe when an elf is found with orcs at the border of Greenwood. Who could this mysterious elf truly be? But then the elf he rescued in the forest grows closer to Legolas, and Thranduil can not help but enjoy her company as well. Darkness descends over the forest, all because of this one elf. When lives are threatened, Thranduil must make a choice: his kingdom or his heart. 12/14/21- y'all I wrote this in high school and I kinda want to go through it again and do a bunch of editing. Some of my writing makes me cringe and what are we here for if not improvement. That being said, this story will change starting today probably and if you're in the middle of it, hopefully I don't confuse details or timelines for you. If you've already read it once and just felt like you had to read it again, maybe it will provide some new enjoyment. Who knows? Maybe I'll actually finish some other stuff I have on here.
