Lua Lefiti is entering her senior year having lived the same life for all of her 17 years, closeted. Her worry wasn't being accepted, her parents had made it very clear she would always be loved, her worry was change. Lua wasn't one for change, in fact, she hated it. She lived without change for 17 years until she met Noëlle. Noëlle Kaplan is new to town, her mom and dad had finally been able to live in the same state again and that meant she had to see her sister again, who she'd been able to avoid for 2 years. Noëlle was prepared to do everything in her power to avoid but now moving to south Houston she would have to face her past. Noëlle was ready to keep her head down and avoid making connections until she met Lua. Lua needs change and Noëlle needs acceptance and hopefully, they will find both together.
