Yugi, a young boy who was a servant for the royal family in Egypt, had stumbled upon the young prince with one of his teachers in the garden. Yugi was not allowed to befriend or speak with Atem unless asked or forced to. One day, Yugi was playing with some of the other servant kids until the young prince and his friend Mana were out in the field kicking some rocks. The young servant had not realized on how much he and the prince looked alike, the only 2 differences were that Yugi was way more paler and was not royal. Yugi had somehow gotten hurt, and this is where the relationship began. As his "friends" left him because they could not handle the crying, the caring prince and his friend rushed over to his aid. The servant just thought they'd help so none of their 'slaves' would be harmed and could continue working but that's not how Atem saw it. Later on things had happened to where the prince had ordered his father to keep Yugi in the palace, so the two grew up together until war began. For 3 years Atem had left.. Yugi hopes to see him soon someday.

Yugi's parents got divorced when he was very young, so he took on all the household chores while his mother worked full time. Yugi felt lonely at times, but he lived a good life. Things progress faster than Yugi have time to think, and he find himself living in his stepfather's home. To make matters worse, Yugi's mom and stepfather leave him with his new stepbrothers for an overseas business trip, leaving the rest of the family in confusion! What's going to happen while Yugi lives with his highly individualistic older stepbrothers?!
