Melody has never been good at making friend's amongst humans; they'd always push her away for reasons that she never understood. In search for comfort, Melody stumbles upon a group of large wolves on her fifteenth birthday and developed an unlikely bond with them. The bond between wolf and human grew strong, she entrusted them with her deepest secrets and revealed hidden things about herself to them. But as time goes on, things happen and things begin to change. And a piece of Melody's history is finally revealed. The thing is, can she accept what she truly is?

The world is an unfair place. And you of all people should know that. You will face love and happiness, anger and hatred, and when you think you trust them you will face betrayal. Well, remember you did ask for it when you decided to spare them all. What's the moral of this story? -Sometimes kindness is not enough.
