However, he meets Phil Lester, the outgoing flirt with too big of a heart to handle. The two become close, and Dan soon realizes that even with his switch off, he can't deny that Phil is slowly reaching to turn it back on, and Dan can't seem to push his hand away.

It all started with that kiss, that moment and that passion when Dan became lost and Phil was clueless but both in love. The story of a skinny love that slowly becomes into something more and at the same time something less. *Note* Depression, suicide, self-harm and things like this will be mentioned a few times in this phan fiction and it shouldn't be triggering in any way but if it is, I apologize in advanced! in a world where your moods are visible above your head, displayed through pictures and icons, it's impossible to hide your true feelings. however dan howell seems to be lacking this. labelled as an emotionless freak, dan is outcasted because his moods are never visible. that is, until an endlessly happy boy named phil wonders why.

I exclaimed removing my hands from my back and lean down to his level. I held him and tears flowed down his face as his eyes was closed shut. "Okay Phil calm down.. Remove your hand and let me see.." I said and he heard what I said. He removed his bloodied hand and there was a little hole on his arm. His sleeve started to get bloodied too. "STAY AWAY FROM HIM!" One of the policemen said but I didn't pay attention. All I care about is my best friend right now. He hissed inwards and he clutched his arm again. "T-there's s-so m-much pain D-Dan.." Phil managed to say and before I could respond something hard hit me on the head, making me fall on top of Phil. "Dan w-wake u-up-" I heard something metal hit Phil on the head too and my blurry vision saw Phil. His head was bleeding rapidly, and so was mine.

Can Dan fight the invisible enemy he's seeing and hearing all the time? Phil, Evelyn and Emerald is trying to help Dan. They're trying to free him or even stop him from being like a psychopath that can kill one of them. This all started with one, just one reason, then adds another one, then another one, it seems endless. But something is stopping them. It seems like it doesn't want them to know everything. Dan, he's in danger. He always is, because of his condition. His horrible, terrifying condition that can end up Phil, Evelyn and Emerald dead. It can also end up him dead. Phil, he's always worried. He doesn't want to lose Dan like last time. He would risk his life just to make Dan okay. To make his best friend safe from harm. Evelyn and Emerald also feels like Phil. They don't want to lose Dan, from all they've been through together that made the 4 of them close. But can they stop this madness before it gets worse?
