The title is a pun, since it's about a student having a crush. The time in this isn't modern/recent * * * James is extremely smart, and somehow managed to catch the attention of one of his father's old friends. He doesn't know anything about him except that he's intelligent, lives far, and wants James to study with him.

We've all had feelings for someone we shouldn't have, or the feelings weren't returned. We kept them to ourselves and tried to move on, but sometimes it's not as easy. Sometimes it stares you right at the face almost every day. That's what Evelyn had to go through when he realized he fell for his best friend.

Hikari (light) is a short, childish, and emotional girl. Hibiki (sound, echo) is a tall, quiet, and shy boy. . One puts their heart out often, while the other doesn't do it enough. * * * All Hibiki wanted to do was finish high school and leave for college to live the life that was planned, he didn't expect a small girl continuously talking to him like he was actually someone special. Hikari was naturally a caring person, seeing someone alone made her feel like she had to step up somehow, it was just the kind of person she was. She didn't expect to make much progress quickly, but she was surprised easily.

Aki was an average guy; smart, funny, kind... He had all the good qualities that people would want in someone. It's just that somehow -- it backfired on him. Just wanting to finish school and meet a nice girl, Aki is suddenly surrounded by a group of guys who are interested. Confused, how is Aki supposed to react to people wanting to be with him? * ( The title just means that he thinks they should act like this to girls.. ~ )
