Alexis has always hated being in the centre of attention. She’d much rather hide in the shadows, away from people’s judging stares. Everything seems to go according to her plans as she got through the first few weeks of senior year unnoticed. That is until her best friend forces her to go to the legendary band Chasing Shadows’ concert with backstage passes. She’s forced to play the guitar in front of thousands of people by the cocky lead singer and teen heart throb Seth, who steals her phone and threatens her that he wouldn’t give it back until she shows that crowd what she’s got as a talented guitarist. The moment she steps on that stage her life is altered completely. She can no longer hide in the shadows. Rock n’ Roll seems to have ruined her life… …or has it?

I wrote this awhile back about my idol Sid Vicious and how he awoke one day from a party involving drugs to find the love of his life dead on the bathroom floor with a stab wound. He was accused of being the murderer and his mom threw a welcome home kind of party after he was in rehab and bailed out of jail. When she threw said party she gave him 98% pure heroine and the next day he was pronounced dead. :( So Sid and Nancy... RIP, my heart goes out to you and your families.
