"I'm tired," he yawned loudly causing me and everyone else at the table to chuckle. "Come her baby," I say moving my napkin from my lap to the table, before opening my arms for him. He lazily scoots into my lap before cuddling closer to me. I wrapped my arms around him before moving out of the booth, which is not that easy to do with a seven year old clinging to you tightly. Once I was out, I sigh before asking Rose to pack the rest of me and Mason's food up for us, she nods with a soft smile. Mason moves before wrapping his arms around my neck and snuggling his head into the crock of my neck. I kiss his head before, walking out of the dinner. I walk around the dinner to the side next to the forest. I feel Mason move before I hear his tired voice speak, "Mommy sing me the song," he says softly before snuggling into my neck again. Sighing I start singing "The other night dear, as I lay sleeping" "I dreamed I held you in my arms," "But when I woke de-" I was cut off by a deep growl that caused Mason's head to shoot up with his eyes wide.
