The old gods are dying. In the course of one night, the lives of eighteen teenagers are eternally changed. As the full moon rises, strange powers course through their veins and dreams through their minds. Sabrina Reynolds doesn't understand it. She, along with her childhood friends, Stella Issacs and Zach Livingston, run away from home to find an answer to why they each woke up with powers they never had before. But when Sabrina meets Finch Temple, another teenager seeking the same answers Sabrina is, answers find a way to evade all of them, and leave the questions even more tangled than before. Sabrina and Finch agree to have a partnership, to trust and work together, but with friendships also come enemies. And they stop at nothing to try to sabotage the partnership. As they encounter other teenagers with the strange powers, Sabrina finds herself not only struggling to find answers, but also with establishing and keeping her friendships. There's a secret that Zach is hiding, one that he won't tell neither Sabrina nor Stella. Sabrina didn't expect her finding answers to destroy everything, and everyone, that she held close. ~"The Demigod Selection" Original Novel~

In 1865, a young girl by the name of Alice Liddell went missing from outside of her home in Oxford, England. Left in the care of her older sister, Margaret, no one could understand how the seven-year-old had disappeared so suddenly. Yet, after multiple search parties were gathered, she was never found, leaving her family to grieve and wonder whatever happened to the youngest member of the family. No one would ever suspect the girl had fallen down a rabbit hole and no one would ever believe the adventures the girl would encounter in a world called Wonderland. From talking flowers to a mischievous grinning cat, Alice had experienced encounters that only children with the wildest imaginations could dream of. Over a century after her disappearance, the impossible happens. Alice reappears, however, she is only a few years older than when she disappeared. Crawling out of a rabbit hole in the Forbidden Forest, the wizarding world is stunned to uncover the girl who is completely unharmed, but more importantly, she is alive. However, with no surviving family, Alice is left in the care of a witch who helps her readjust before she begins her time at Hogwarts. For Alice, readjusting to her former world is far from easy but she's always been up for an adventure. Especially since she has her trusted White Rabbit to keep her company, not to mention a group of friends willing to help her along the way. She also comes across a boy who is so by the books and so set on following the rules, it's clear he needs a little nonsense in his life and Alice knows all about nonsense.

Death had followed Rowena Ashbay her entire life. At eight years old, after narrowly surviving an attack from a mountain lion, she accidentally murders her parents. All she had to do was touch them, and they fell dead to the ground. Terrified of her own powers, Rowena secludes herself, never allowing herself to touch another person in fear that her powers would take another life. For ten years, she lives alone on the streets, not daring to trust anyone. Until an attack on the city leaves Rowena's world destroyed, and she makes the same mistake she did ten years ago. But this time, there's someone there to save her. They call themselves the Embers, a group of people who each have wondrous powers. They're led by Adrian Hill, a powerfully charismatic man, and he promises to give Rowena a home and a family in exchange for training her. She would be a fool to refuse him. But even among friends, Rowena Ashbay is still a lion disguised behind a docile lamb. She has a dark power in her veins, and it threatens to consume her and everyone she has grown to love.

It was a common misconception that pureblooded children such as the Malfoys were bred from a family that was based solely on hatred. However, that was the farthest from the truth as the eldest of the Malfoy family, Saros, had grown up in a household surrounded by the warmth and love of his parents. He grew up spoiled, holding a sense of entitlement since the time he was young because his parents told him and his little brother, Draco, that they deserved the world. His parents had given Saros no reason not to believe and trust in their word, they gave him no reason for him not to love them, which made the internal battle turn into an all-out war when it came to choosing what side was right and which one was wrong. Saros learns that good and evil is not so black and white when living in a grey world. He will do anything to protect his family, even if it means making the wrong decisions in their eyes. Normally, Angelina Johnson wouldn't even bother with the likes of Saros Malfoy, after all, she has her own life to tend to and she knows the type of person that he is. Spoiled and entitled don't interest the girl, however, there is a moment, where she is a witness to something beyond the typical Malfoy air, a time where Saros shows that he is human and maybe Angelina's got it all wrong about the boy.

[Book One: Brotherhood Series] There was no mystery to Milo Fleamont Potter, even if he was not the Boy-Who-Lived. He was the boy-who-survived. He was the boy that lost his parents and in many ways, lost his brother the same night that Voldemort attacked the Potter household. He was not graced with a scar, he did not bore a striking resemblance to his parents, but he held their stride and their attitude, even at a young age. A prophecy was not thrust upon him, but he had his own destiny to fulfill. [Cover by -voidlegends ]
