When Hermione visits her favorite muggle cafe in London she never expects to run into Draco Malfoy for the first time in three or four years and he has some information that Hermione desperately needs. Together they embark on an adventure and Hermione starts to feel a little different about the man who mocked her all those years.

Ginny and Hermione are back at Hogwarts to complete their seventh year of education. But so are Blaise Zabini, Astoria Greengrass, Pansy Parkinson, Theodore Nott, and lastly, Draco Malfoy. There's a new class being introduced and Hermione finds herself working with the Slytherins in more ways than one, but will all that hate from years before clear away? Sure they can't change their pasts, but they're sure as hell going to make the most of their future. After the war, Draco is forced to retreat with his family to America, because he is still a minor. He begins to go to the American wizarding school, Ilvermorny. When the tweaked version of the TriWizard Tournament, Quattuor, comes around, this time including all four wizarding schools, and it is held at Ilvermorny, the older Hogwarts students go with to enter and observe, like in the previous tournament. The war itself was terrible. But the aftermath seems even worse now it's gone. Maybe we were all too busy fighting for what we felt as right (or what we were told was right), and we didn't notice we were treading on the dead fingers and toes of our families and friends.
