As I went through everything, in the end, I felt the greatest sympathy for Xue Yáng, Xiao Xingchen, and A-Qíng. Xue Yáng remains one of the character whom I just couldn't hate even if I tried to. Because their real story is so tragic, I decided to write my own version of how their story could've gone, or how I wish it could've gone. The BL pairing I have in this book may not be the same as yours, because I am going to pair Xue Yáng and Xiao Xingchen together. Although the couple is Xue Yáng and Xiao Xingchen, a big part of this book will focus on A-Qíng and her life when she is now older, and it will focus on some other events in the book too. I know that a lot of people pair Xiao Xingchen and Song Zichen together, but because this is my own work, I took it a different route. FYI You do not have to read Grandmaster of Demonic Cultivation before reading this book but I will recommend it if you want to understand this book better.
