in a world where your moods are visible above your head, displayed through pictures and icons, it's impossible to hide your true feelings. however dan howell seems to be lacking this. labelled as an emotionless freak, dan is outcasted because his moods are never visible. that is, until an endlessly happy boy named phil wonders why.

Amelia Lancaster was just a normal girl with a normal life. With her dad always travelling and her mother always working, she would spend her spare time either at school, reading, or fangirling over youtubers. One day, a terrible accident happens to her and her family which puts her in the hospital. Now Amelia has nobody to look after her since the accident but luckily she has the help of her nurse Ms. Honey and loyal friend Martin find a place for her to stay. Enter Dan and Phil, two internet hobos that make youtube videos. It was just a normal day for them, dan in his browsing position and phil eating cereal, when phil get's a call from his brother Martin. Martin explains to him that his friend's family got into a car crash and his younger daughter has no where to go. Martin asks Phil if him and dan could watch the girl for a few weeks until they can find her a home. Of course, Phil agrees. What will happen when a new unfamiliar face starts living in the dan and phil house?
