A Daryl Dixon/The Walking Dead fanfiction Bailey is a very head strong girl, very independent and likes to figure everything out on her own, and she just wants to find her family, when a group of people come in the way of that. She makes new friendships, new loves, and a new family. Bailey comes upon a group and gets very attached to some of the members especially one in particular. She finds herself loving for the first time after loosing her family and she is going to have to make many decisions. Will all of her new loved ones die, will she die for them, will she find her old family, will she leave her new one? These are all choices she will have to make. What will she decide? Daryl Dixon had a hard life. He grew up with alcoholic parents, an abusive father and a crazy brother. Nothing in his life had ever been easy. The only good thing he had was his best friend from childhood, Rick Grimes. When Rick asked him to be his best man at his wedding, Daryl instantly said yes. The simple ceremony that Daryl expected had turned into a destination wedding in Las Vegas. His life was never the same after as what happened in Vegas, did not stay in Vegas.

Daryl Dixon has just finished leading thousands of walkers away from Alexandria with the help of Sasha and Abraham, but something went terribly wrong in the process. Daryl's flying back home to Alexandria on his motorcycle to help his survivor family when he meets a lone person walking towards their certain death. In an instant he has a choice to make and no time to waste. Does he saves the one, and if so at what cost will that be to Rick and the others? That choice will change his life forever.

"I would have thought with your family background that bullying would be that last thing you did." Lorna scowled. "You don't know anything about my family." Daryl spat. "Your father is friends with mine. They like to have a few drinks and then use me as their personal slut." She said, shrugging her shoulders and walking away.

"I can hardly remember a time in my life where the Dixon's weren't a part of it" Savannah and Daryl have been in each other's lives for as long as they can remember....thick as thieves through the good and the bad. They are two damaged souls found by unfortunate coincidences and terrible parenting. Each of them feels they are worth nothing....they have nothing but each other, and it stays that way through tormented years of childhood, traumatic teenage years and way into adulthood. It always felt like nothing could tear these friends apart. But when a virus breaks out, the dead don't stay dead and your every move could cause you your life, could this be the one thing that breaks these two apart? It always felt that Daryl Dixon and Savannah Montgomery were meant to be together, even from a young age, but will they realize this before it's too late?

In the apocalypse, it is said that love is a burden. maybe that true but it takes two true lovers to make it work, especially in the apocalypse. Daryl Dixon has said to never love someone. Maybe that's true or maybe he never told anyone. One girl comes along and finally breaks down his barrier but for a cost.

I look at them both, knowing that they are the most important people in my life and that if I lost them, I wouldn't go on. I glance between the men I love and know that I will do anything to ensure that they survive. It's been months since the O'Grady Memorial incident and the group is still affected by it, most of all Cat and Daryl. Daryl hasn't been the same since and it's putting a strain on their relationship. Cat has tried to be supportive but it seems to be having the opposite affect. Will Daryl and Cat's relationship be permanently damaged? Or will this be a chance at a new beginning?
