Summer vacation. It was the thing Rich was definitely not looking forward to yet he didn't want to be at school either. Ever since he got out of the hospital everything in his life has been different. He wasn't comfortable talking because of his lisp. Rich had become the quiet kid. He kind of stopped talking to people. He was hated by almost everyone because of the fire. After the threat of the SQUIP invasion is over, the students of Middleborough High School in New Jersey try to make life normal again. However, learning to live without evil mind control isn't the only priority of Rich Goranski, he also wants to develop a friendship (and maybe romance?) with a certain Michael Mell.
