Everything starts to fall apart when Rowan and Aelin's daughter, Lyria, dies. Then another death strikes a bit too close to home. Not days later, tragic news comes. Eyllwe decides to blame Princess Nehemia's death on Aelin, so they declare war. And Aelin will stop at nothing to make sure her kingdom survives.
