Nala is born the daughter of Sarafina and Jahi during the reign of Mufasa. Her cubhood days are spent alongside Simba, Tama, Kula, and Malka. The five of them spend their time exploring the Pridelands and getting into mischief. It seems as if they have all the time in the world. Then, one day, everything changes. Scar returns with life-changing news: the King is dead and so is Simba. Nala's life drastically changes when Priderock falls to Scar's rule. The Pridelands begin to die and the Pride faces starvation. As Nala grows older, she becomes one of the best huntresses and catches Scar's attention.
