Quran For All - In Every Hand, In Every Heart. 'Still Another Chance' By: Ayesha Quadri Today was a day, a day very hard, I felt very tighten, in my heart. As our second term result were given in our hand, then we understood where we all stand. Some hearts were full of joy and happiness, Some hearts were full of hope for the next. Thanks to Allah that he gave us a chance to improve, as after death we will only have to move,(for the next step) My eyes were full of tears and heart was full of fear, thinking how we'll face the final day when no one will be near. No changes can be done in the final letter(book of records), No second chance to make it better. And there we will stand in front of our lord, and that too will our complete record.

Quran For All - In Every Hand, In Every Heart. "Advice to the Youth...Now that Summer is Here." by Asma bint Shameem Whew! Summer is finally here and school is out for a whole two and a half months. No more books and backpacks, no more tests and tensions....its time to relax and enjoy! Surely, you worked hard during the year and you deserve a break. Surely, you want to unwind and enjoy yourself. That matter is understandable. Islam certainly allows for rest after hard work but under certain regulations. Hanzalah bin Aamir once complained to the Prophet (pbuh) that some of his time is intermingled with playing with his children and family. The Prophet (pbuh) answered him, "But there should be a time for this and a time for serious deeds." (Al-Bukhaaree and Muslim) But the question is....to what extent should you go in spending your summer vacation? What is the essence of vacation? Does it mean mere pastime, attending parties, and hanging out with your friends without direction or purpose? Does it mean twiddling your thumbs, idling away the hours? Or watching satellite channels and playing endless video games? Or letting the gaze wander free? And what are some of the positive things in which this summer can be spent? These are questions that every conscious Muslim who is concerned about his free time, his Aakhirah and the welfare of the youth should ask himself.

Quran For All - In Every Hand, In Every Heart. "Love For the Sake of Allah (s.w.t)" by Unknown I had last night what I call one of my 'wow' moments of Ramadan. As we started to make the suff for esha salah at our masjid, and I, concentrating only on joining feet to feet and shoulder to shoulder, was taking my place next to this lady, she turned around, looked me full in the face with a beautiful big organic smile, eyes shining, and said: 'Sister, I love you!' For a second there I was totally nonplussed, as my automatic response system searched frantically for the correct Arabic reply to this taught by the Prophet saw....the imam was reaching the end of his iqama...the sister was still smiling at me expectantly....(my mind was racing: Did she know me? Did she recognize me from somewhere? Did it matter??!!!) Then Alhamdulillah some good instinct kicked in...my arm went round her shoulders to give her a warm squeeze and I was able to mumble something about loving each other for the sake of Allah, and Allah accepting all our good deeds and intentions in this blessed month, on this powerful night.....hoping my gesture would convey what I couldn't put in words very coherently.....phew!!!

Copied from the blog :- https://knowinghearts.wordpress.com/

Quran For All - In Every Hand, In Every Heart. "Jannah: Just a wish or a Reality??" by Asma bint Shameem When Fir'aun found out that his wife Aasiyah believed in Allah Subhaanahu wa Ta'ala, instead of in him, he was furious! How could she? He ordered his guards to beat her. They tied her hands and feet, and beat her mercilessly in the scorching desert heat. She turned to Allah and prayed, "My Lord, build for me a home with You in Jannah and save me from Fir'aun and his deeds and save me from the Zaalimun ( wrong-doers and disbelievers in Allaah)." (Surah at-Tahreem:11). That was her wish. To be in Jannah. And she got it. It is said that when she said this, the sky opened for her and she saw her home in Jannah. She smiled. Frustrated and angry, the guards picked up a huge rock to crush her completely. But before they could do that, Allah took her soul and she became an example for all the believing men and women until the end of time. Wishes, hopes and aspirations! Who doesn't have them?
