Danny was fighting skulker and that day ruined his life. Nothing he had nothing he fled to Gotham to get away from everything that happened to him. Vlad masters is looking for Daniel and hopes to help him before its to late. Batman notices a strange energy in Gotham and finds out what's the source. Danny might be losing his mind thinking about becoming a monster. A certain someone knows a lot about the ghostboy and is planning his down fall.

The other two half ghosts are Vlad Masters, rich millionaire and Danny's uncle, and Danny's clone, Danielle, who became his adopted daughter until he was taken by the GIW after exposing his biggest secret to his parents. That was four years ago. During that time span, Danny has been experimented on. He's been cut open, stabbed, poked, prodded, and tested on ever since. After the four long years of horrendous torture, Danny somehow escapes and is found by the Young Justice team. At first Danny doesn't feel at home but he's closer to home than he thinks. He knows her past and she knows his, and their brother/sister bond is unbreakable because of it. Artemis is then introduced to the YJ team and Percy secretly tags along on their first mission.
