the secret is out during a fight with Eggman Sonics father the king of chaos shows up out of no where wanting to find his son so they can rule and cause chaos to everyone

Sonic the great hero and others got pulled into a game you are either hero or villain they choose for them but what happens when sonic gets picked to be a villain and just maybe this isn't a game at all just an evil scheme to turn sonic against his friend and work for evil

I was captured. Turned in to darkness. I fight in mind. Will the Freedom Fighter and Shadow save Sonic from his worst nightmare or will the all die.

*Sonic* So I was dared to make Shadow seem defenseless and submissive. Why? Well, if anybody knows me, then they should know that I never back away from a dare... I blame Knuckles. He told me to! I don't know what's up his sleeve, but I don't like it... *Shadow* I've recently discovered that I have feelings for my rival, Sonic. At first, I didn't know what they meant, but Silver told me that it means that I... like him... more than a friend... Anyways, now I avoid the blue hedgehog... but... he won't stop following me... I hope he doesn't find out, but he's been getting really close to me... to close for comfort...

When Sonic runs into his old rival, he finds out something he never knew about Shadow. Since he never knew the secret, he didn't know whether it was new or a secret kept for a long time.

~sonadow~ When I first started to get feelings I thought that it was just a silly crush and it would eventually past but it didn't. The more I thought about it the more I continued to fall, fall into the endless pit never going to find the end. As much as I am going to hate to say this, I am just helplessly in love with the mobian in front of me.
