Meet Max Hopkins, a young boy who is given the original 1980's Teddy Ruxpin for his tenth birthday. One Halloween night, a freak thunderstorm forms and puts the power in Max's house. Max has a nightmare about Teddy killing his family. When he wakes up, he hugs his knees and starts crying. "Hey, what's wrong?" Teddy asks. Wait, Teddy talked on his own? Max begins to cry even more. "Did I scare you? I didn't mean to. I'm sorry..." What happens when this plush animatronic bear comes to life and wants to make everyone smile again?
