Let's just say that 2020 was a bit of a creativity wasteland. A friend of mine and I were both facing a drought. This sparked an idea, as these things tend to start out as, and one thing led to another, and boom Wild at Heart Flash Fiction was born. Each month as a group we come up with a theme and we gather some inspirational material, and we write flash fiction. Flash Fiction is a story told in one thousand words or less. Which is a challenge to say the least. Up until now, I've been sharing my stories with my Facebook Groups and my friends. But things change and evolve, and now they are here for you to enjoy.

This is a collection of wild short reads. Each chapter is a saucy, self-contained piece of paranormal romance flash fiction (1000 words or less) ready to be devoured! Occasionally, I go over that limit if the story warrants it. However, I work hard to wrangle these bolts of inspiration to keep them under the flash fiction umbrella as much as possible. Some of these stories--like Lonely Kitty--quickly went on to spawn their own longer projects. You can read the full 35K+ novella--Mistletoe for Lonely Kitty--in a PNR charity anthology, CHRISTMAS NIBBLES (link on my profile). Most of these stories were written as part of the WILD AT HEART - PNR FLASH FICTION writing circle. Each month, we choose a theme, share some inspirational images, then get cracking. These short works are published in our newsletters and in our online readers' groups. Now, I'm bringing my collection together for the first time and publishing it for my Wattpad peeps to enjoy.
