~ Part 1 ~ Beatrix is trying to finish her first novel in 1966 when she meets Paul at a party thrown by the art dealer Robert Fraser. Starting an affair with Paul McCartney is a terrible idea, but she just can't seem to stop herself. 1966 is a transformative year for Paul with the release of Revolver, the genesis of Sgt Pepper, and the end of the Beatles touring years. Paul is trying to reconcile being both an artist and a Beatle when he meets Beatrix. ~ Part 2 ~ As Beatrix is increasingly drawn into the chaotic and bizarre circus of the Beatles' inner circle, she tries to find her place as Paul's partner without losing herself in the process. 1967 is a year of epic highs and dramatic lows for Paul as the Beatles release Sgt Pepper, meet the Maharishi, and embark on a Magical Mystery Tour. In some ways Beatrix is still elusive to him, but these days he is very familiar with what her knickers look like. - Disclaimer: this is a work of fiction. All characters, even those who share names or bear likenesses to real people, living or dead, are fictional. (Formerly known as The Lonely People)

Queen's 1982 'Hot Space' album, you either love it or love to hate it. Freddie Mercury can safely assume that the acerbic music critic from Rolling Stone magazine, Hayes Griffith, despises it. A particularly scathing review of 'Hot Space' provokes a meeting between the lively musician and cold critic. The result? A PR nightmare for both men. *** Characters are inspired by Queen. I do not own them, photos, or lyrics, used throughout the story.

After a misunderstanding, Roger thinks that he'll never see Skylar again, only to find her again four years later. But what will he do when the girl of his dreams won't take him seriously? ** Contains a prodigious amount of swearing. Also, some sexy stuff. Consider yourself warned.

1964. You couldn't possibly be in 1964. In England, 1964? The last thing you'd known you were living in 2017 with a love for the music of Queen and a passion for the charisma that lie behind Freddie Mercury's smile. Now you were trapped, trapped in a time no longer your own. A new life you've been learning to love and a new love that could never possibly be a life. In the end time waits for no one, but maybe just maybe ...no one but you. _______ This is my first and most-likely only attempt at fanfiction. I'm hopefully going to keep this one going for a bit. I am just trying it out. It will probably get more mature later on, but we'll have to see. I'm doing this for my other Queen friends who said I should go for it, so here I go. ADDED NOTE: I know the first few chapters have a lot of spelling and grammatical errors that I need to go back and edit. I am slightly dyslexic and I wrote those chapters rather quickly when I started this a few years back. I'll go back and edit those hopefully eventually. At some point I'll be rewriting the first twenty chapters or so, but that's probably when I finish the fic. So sorry!

It's the beginning of the summer of 1977. Final exams are over and 18 year old Monica Brannigan and her best friend Paula leave their troubled home city of Belfast to embark on a fun-filled three day trip to London for Paula's 18th birthday, and to look at the universities that they applied for. But for Monica, three days becomes an eternity when she falls head over heels for Freddie Mercury, one of the hottest and most elusive rockstars on the planet. She stays behind with him and goes on to have a wonderful and romantic relationship, and two beautiful and mischievous children. But after a few years together, Freddie's fame and flaws, as well as Monica's senseless and impulsive decision at such a young age, soon have painful consequences on the happy life that they have built together... This fanfiction takes place mostly in London, A.D.1984. I know that biographers believe Freddie's official diagnosis of AIDS is 1987, but I think he knew way too well before Live Aid (1985) that something was wrong. Even Mary Austin hinted at something in this sense, and who am I to contradict her? What if someone else, other than Jim Hutton, nursed Fred through his illness All I write is just a birth of my imagination, and I beg you to be patient with me, because English is not my mother tongue!
