At present day, he is captured by an edgerunner group due to being considered the enemy's son. While trying to gain trust to take information at the Arasaka Corporation and to know the truth of what the corporation has done and to take advantage of their plans. Y/N joins the group as a getaway driver but there are regulations. They insert a tracker to stay on the radar and an anti-weapon (unable to use a weapon) chip into Y/N's neck, following up by being supervised by a short girl with pigtails.
