Destiel/Sabriel Reverse!Verse Castiel and Gabriel Novak. You'd think they were angels from their name. But no, they were hunters. Hunters of all things that live in the dark. Sam and Dean Winchester. Two angels cast down from heaven but not technically fallen. One's awkward as hell and the other hates humans. One random encounter leaves all four people constantly crossing paths again in the future. With time they may grow to like each other, but in a world where the hunters lives are constantly in danger, nothing's going to work out perfectly.

The angels have fallen. Castiel lost his grace, and is now a human. He experiences hunger, cold, need, but still pondered at the thought of love. Dean takes him under his wing and helps him understand his new way of life; every aspect. Even though his grace is lost, the affair between a man and an angel is forbidden. Not to mention, an angel and a Winchester. In addition to the internal conflicts between the two, they also have to worry about the bounty put on Castiel's head by the other fallen angels.

Cas, Dean, and Sam have been hunting together and splitting off to take smaller jobs. The story starts with the three of them on three separate hunts. Cas is human and wounded. He shows up at Dean's motel in need of help. What proceeds is the two of them meeting up with Sam and going on an involved hunt, over the course of which Dean and Cas slowly figure out their feelings for each other. Lots of awkwardness (in a good way), some mild angst, comfort, and eventually fluff and smut.

Dean Winchester is the popular boy extraordinaire of Sioux Falls High. With his good looks, jock status, and hot girlfriend, he's practically unstoppable. The only thing getting in the way is himself. His appearance may scream popular jock, but his personality seems to conflict with that idea. His brother Sammy, only a year younger, is smart, geeky, and awkward. Well, awkward on the outside, at least. Underneath all of that is an excitable, sarcastic geek, with more personality than hair. Bullied because of this, Sam isn't easy to actually get to know. Castiel Novak is the rebel of Edlund Academy. With a wit sharper than the metal in his mouth, and his own little gang of freaks and geeks, he's ready to take over the world, if only he had less anxiety. Gabriel, Castiel's twin, is a prank and candy loving guy, whose personality is that of a five year old. But where he overcompensates with his personality, he hides a mountain of self hate about how much he weighs. Cover by WengyDave.

Their Dad was almost always gone and if he was there, there was yelling and a lot of getting punched. In school Dean acted the bad boy but when he was alone his world broke together. He was soft and hurt. Even though he was Sam's protector. Never would he ever let anything happen to Sammy. He took blame for stuff Sammy did just to keep him safe. Safe from their Dad.
