It's completely silent just the tick of the clock. I lay in the cloak of darkness trying to fall back asleep.I take a deep breath and will myself to relax. My thoughts start to stray and I start to think of the man that often appears in my dreams. The man I lock up in my mind. For me this is a forbidden subject. I look over to the paperclip on my nightstand. I grab it and bend the point. I scrap it up my left arm.

Everything that's in me. For all the light drowning in darkness. A variety of poems. Covers not mine but I love it.
