Winstrom College is set at an American university at time when fascism has taken root. It has elements of the Holocaust and the Stanford Prison Experiment with oppression and brutality. This book contains deep thoughts, random observations, poems, and quotes I've come up with that I don't want to forget. Content of this book can range from very deep to very dark to just plain ludicrous. You have been warned. 🦆

Blaeyde Flynn has always considered herself a black sheep, an outcast among so many people, with an abrasive personality that tends to annoy people and rub them the wrong way with her hyperactive tendencies. She is more than thrilled when she gets a place on a small team including three other girls to hold down an outpost on a small planet in a war against shape shifting aliens. Blaeyde and her team must race against time before any more blood is shed, regardless of species. But with the humans on Earth believing the lie that the shape shifters are dangerous and evil, and a band of renegade shape shifters having captured technology that can wipe out the planet, Blaeyde and her team are working overtime. What's worse is that the humans have started developing technology that can actually kill the shape shifters. Seen as an abomination by both humans and shape shifters alike, Blaeyde must resolve tensions between sworn enemies. The past may be the only key to ensure the future.

The town of Penbrook is living in a lie. Truth is death. The people are guarded and cared for by dragon sentinels. If a sentinel collapses on the job, they are dragged out by faceless red drones and never seen again. With the civilians, glitches are removed and deviants are silenced. Brin is a young schoolteacher who was tasked with raising the next sentinel after the previous one's collapse. It is Brin's sacred duty to teach the dragon about its role and to prevent the young creature from glitching or deviating, just as she has taught the town's children. What she doesn't know is that the Familiar Society is directly responsible for the collapse of every sentinel before, and a higher power is pulling the strings.
