Dr. Raven Poe works for the LAPD as a pathologist and anthropologist. Specializing in all bones and fleshy corpses alike. She is also the partner of Detective Chloe Decker. Though the two women have known one another much longer than that. Raven's parents disappeared without a trace when she was fifteen years old. Thus leaving her in the care of her godmother, Penelope Decker. Such a tragedy, left Raven quite the rational and emotionally distant woman with many more issues. Raven thinks she has everything figured out, until her rational mind is compromised upon meeting Lucifer Morningstar. She witnesses things that she cannot explain without jumping to conclusions of the supernatural. Raven is not the only one taken off guard by the presence of a stranger. Lucifer finds himself oddly intrigued by the young woman and is trying to wrap his head around his strange pull towards her. (The character of Raven Poe is inspired a bit (okay....extremely) by Temperance Brennan in the TV show Bones.) (Raven is 35 years old just like Chloe)

"You're light." Says Adrian as he softly strokes my cheek. I flinch at his touch. He looks into my blue eyes, his golden eyes searching my blue eyes. "You're my light....my beautiful light." His lips delicately make contact with my own. I close my eyes, closing the gap. My hands lay on his cheeks. "Please....don't hurt me." I whisper. Adrian softly pulls away, then pecks my lips. "I-I don't want you to end up like Drake did with----" "Fuck him." He says possessively. "He gave you up, now its my turn....but I'm going to treat you the way you're suppose to be treated." "I love you, my Dark Adrian." I whisper as I search his pretty golden eyes. He smiles and strokes my cheek, then kisses it. His lips softly kiss around my jaw, then down my neck. I whimper a little bit and that was enough for Adrian to stop his actions. "I love you more, my Light Adam." He whispers. "I'm going to treat you better than he did. Your body has enough marks....you don't need more."
