It can be difficult to understand the meaning in the eyes many have tried to decode the pattern. But everyone knows that the more vibrant the eyes the more important or amazing the Altean that dons them is. But what is Lance to do when he, the second child of King Alfore and younger sibling to princess Allura, He is a child of the crown yet he was is born with the dullest eyes ever seen.

Being a teen is a hard task in itself but when you pair that up with mental illnesses, society's harsh exceptations, and the need to discover oneself; you're in for a big ride. Allura can't seem to find the courage to hide the bruises that show up on her skin like a tragic work of art. Shiro smiles to hide the pain that eats away at his mind in his every waking hour, haunted by the monsters of his past and future. Hunk fights the feeling of fear when he steps into the world after a traumatic experience. He used to be the leg of Voltron, of course the team seemed to forget that. But it was okay because he was fine with holding them up in silence. No one gave it a second thought whenever Lance would go quiet when someone mention family or Earth or how Lance should just be quiet sometimes. No one noticed until Lance locked himself in his room, not coming out for anyone, screaming gibberish at anyone who'd try to get in. No one knew why, but Keith was determined to find out.
