After college, they move in to an apartment in New York City. Emma is training to be a doctor while Killian took a liking to writing stories. They had the perfect life. Killian Jones has the power to move and alter things with his mind. With the help of his friends, he's working to save Springtide City. Everyday he meets new people. But, it's hard to live a normal life when there is always crime to deal with. But, a new girl in town might change all of that. And not in a way that he expects.

Killian Jones has a speech impairment. Sometimes, he stutters when forming sentences, which makes kids believe he is retarded. His brother, Liam Jones, doesn't have the time to babysit his little brother. So, he decided to hire someone who can help him. Emma Swan is a nobody in school. But, she's nice to everyone. When she finds that the quiet boy in school needs help, she's glad to offer hers. But, friendships aren't always easy to form when the other is too stubborn to see that a certain someone genuinely cares for them. Emma Swan is at a fancy restaurant called Ostria, waiting for her date to show up. But, as time keeps going on, and the hours are starting to run together slowly, she wonders if he'll ever show up. But she never guessed that someone else would come to her rescue. (One Shot)

Set in 1921. Killian Jones is rich. He gets his wealth from his father who has been there with him his entire life. Killian is an only child, which he was grateful for. His father sent him on a cruise ship in hopes that it would calm him down over the fact that he has to marry a woman he has never met. Killian never expected to fall in love with the maid he sees around the ship. He also never planned to go home ever again.

He's a serial killer. An animal looking for its prey. He's killed many people in different locations. He always knows where to go and how to avoid being caught. He doesn't have a "type." He kills whoever, whenever. But when he gets ahold of one girl, he knows that there is something different about her.
