[Complete overhaul ongoing as of 11/7/25]
Sakai Keichi has always been the wingman, the shadow helping his best friend chase girls in an empty cycle of double dates and practiced smiles.
He lets himself fade into the background.
Until he meets a girl who smells of rain, and for the first time, he wants to be seen.
But wanting something for yourself comes with a price. And in the space of a perfect summer, it all falls apart. Keichi learns that sometimes, beauty only exists because it doesn't last.
Some people leave.
Some stay.
And some teach you that even halcyon days must end.
\
A poetic coming-of-age told in minimalist, cinematic fragments, Wingman lingers on the small, transient moments that define youth-and the feeling of quiet yearning.
