It's definitely the longest piece of work I've ever written and I'm incredibly proud of it. Despite how long I've been working on it, it's still incomplete. I wanted to share the beginning to see what you guys think and hopefully encourage myself to push through and continue. I know it's an incredibly long first chapter! I originally had them broken up into flashbacks at different parts of the book but thought that might get confusing so I published them together as backstory to start. I am currently rewriting this book, changing some story plots, and character names. This is a personal choice due to me not feeling that I put 100% of myself into this book.
