There once was a supermarket in a small country town that was known for its friendly service and the staff were all real close. One night, a group of employees were asked to work an overnight shift to prepare for the large day ahead of them... Christmas Eve. Everything seemed fine until the power went out. The backup generator kicked in, supplying power to give the workers some light. But, without reason, a man made an attempt to break in, but found that there were several workers busying themselves with the tasks at hand. The man then found a new motive... kill them all. We stood inside my bedroom feet away from my sleeping husband he pulls me closer to his body moving backwards to the hallway. I could only follow hoping that my life would be spared. Suddenly, we stopped by the edge of the staircase. "You're mine." He whispers in a hoarse tone placing a kiss on my cheek hitting me on the head with the back of the knife. I was seeing double. I was feeling dizzy, everything was spinning. I felt like I was in slow motion groaning at the pain looking down the stairs. That's the last thing I see before I black out.
