"You like this, don't you?" Sam grins, running his tongue over his lip ring. "You're turned on by it." "Please," I wave my hand in dismissal. "You are," he accuses, his voice light. He does it again. I can't look away. "Stop." "Why should I? Little Miss 'I hate everyone at Ryder' really does find me irresistible. Who am I to deny her?" Sam's voice has something of an edge to it and my eyes snap to his. "'Little miss 'I hate everyone at Ryder', huh?" I ignore the second part of his jab. "That's right." I lean against my wardrobe, crossing my arms over my chest. "There's only a few people at Ryder I really can't stand, and you're at the top of my list." Sam's eyes narrow on me. "Is that so?" He turns from the mirror and takes a step in my direction. I refuse to back down, tilting my chin up to keep his gaze as he crowds into my space. His eyes hold mine until he's close enough that I can feel the warmth of his breath over my cheeks and his focus shifts to my mouth. He runs his tongue over the lip ring again, and I feel my own lips part slightly as he does it, my breath coming a little faster. My stomach is pulsing with a mix of nervousness and something I'm not totally ready to admit to myself. ---- Logan Grey's a 16 year-old girl with a penchant for Bob Dylan and running long distances. When her father dies suddenly, she and her best friend come up with a scheme to keep her from moving to her grandparents' Ohio estate: two years of boarding at her Connecticut hometown's highly renowned prep school. But a fluke lands Logan in a room with Ryder Academy's hottest, baddest boy and it's pretty obvious they're not going to get along. At least until Sam Evans and his sexy-as-hell lip ring saunter into her life, upending everything she thought she knew. [This story contains strong language and sexual content. You've been warned!]

It took every ounce of my willpower not to reciprocate his kiss. Our lips moved in flawless synchrony. I trembled as I felt his tongue tracing my lower lip. My legs turned feeble, and I clutched his shirt for support. Suddenly, his hands released mine and firmly seized my waist, simultaneously drawing me closer. I could perceive the fervent heat emanating from his body. His heart throbbed rapidly beneath my hands. I withdrew my hand and exerted a forceful push to separate us. "Soaf... please," he implored, his azure eyes locked onto mine. "I... I have to go," I responded, taken aback by the unexpected situation. ************ Sophie Esinberg embodied the typical nerd, often seen with glasses perched on her nose and her arms clutching books tightly as she made her way through the school hallway. Ever since her childhood best friend, Daniel left town, Sophie resigned herself to a life of solitude, embracing her status as a loner. Everything takes a tumultuous turn when fate thrusts her into a project alongside the school's renowned bad boy and heartthrob, Raymond Reynolds, also known as Mr. Popular. Sophie's world crumbles as she discovers that she's developing feelings for the cocky, extraordinarily attractive, and irresistibly charming Raymond. However, deep down, she knows she's insignificant in his world-a mere speck of insignificance. Will she fight against her instincts and let him break her heart? ****** Highest Ranking #1

Like the Hunger Games series? Then you'll love ''Man Hunt'' When Alice awakes in a small, bare room with nothing more than a letter, a backpack, a change of clothes and some survival gear, she doesn't know what to expect. She has no recollection of how she got to where she is, or even where she is and she can't help but feel frightened about the whole situation. According to the letter addressed to her name, her parents signed her up for a new televised game show in which twelve teenagers will be split into two equal teams. The teenagers will then take part in a slightly modified version of a childhood game they are all quite familiar with for the chance to win a sum of €1,000,000 for every member of the winning team. When Alice meets the rest of her group, they soon realise that they are stranded on an island and they have no other option but to cooperate. They quickly find the instructions and map their team has been supplied with and are forced to begin a game which they fear is darker than it may seem. The twelve teenagers can't be any more different, however they must push their divergence aside and hope that they have what it takes to win the game and return home with the money that could change their lives forever. In a tale of adventure, action and deceit; do Alice and her team have what it takes to leave the island as champions or is there a more sinister fate in store for them? Is this really just a game as their letters describe, or are there darker forces at work behind closed doors?

If you're judging this book by its cover and title, you're already proving the point this story wants to make. Try to move past this satirical obstacle in front of you. This is a story about bullying, and like the hundreds of other books on the topic, it will show you the harsh reality of being discriminated, belittled, ridiculed for something you cannot control- how you look, who you love, or what you believe in. But unlike these books, this story's sole purpose is not to tear your heart out of your chest as you mourn over your loss of faith in humanity. Instead, this book will make you laugh and love alongside these characters. Just like in life, there will be moments of dread and surrender, but there will also be moments of happiness, laughter, and love. - Naomi Lorraine, better known as Nerdy Naomi with her thick-rimmed glasses and straight-A report card, is the most unpopular girl in her school. Even with the help of her sarcastic comebacks, that doesn't stop her from getting bullied by everyone in Dartwell High. Every day her childhood bully, Raymond Meyers, knocks her off her feet, literally. However, she can't do anything but survive the laughs, insults, and bruises high school gives her. There are three senior transfer students, dubbed the Three Musketeers: Bennett Frazier, Jordan Wallace, and Declan Lynch. All in one day, Naomi catches their attention one by one. With her snarky attitude, but innocent look, they can't help but want her. But not the way you're thinking. Oh no, not like that. Instead, it's probably the whole opposite. It's quite simple really. She'll be their good girl. And they'll be her bad boys. ~ [This story is a first draft written by a 13 to 15-year-old girl so it has its fair share of grammar mistakes and plot holes.] Wattys 2015 Talk of the Town Award Second Place Story of 2015 Best Humor and Overall Points of The Fiction Awards 2016 Third in the Writers Awards 2016 Highest Ranks: #1 Humor, #1 Teen Fiction
