Missing Scene from MoD chapter VIII: Tom's visit to Vamp's Lair ~*~*~*~ You probably won't understand a thing if you haven't read my other story, titled "Miracle of Deliverance" until at least the specified chapter VIII.

Carnival Mirror (series): Two time-travels, pretty much mirroring each other: sixteen year-old Tom Riddle accidentally appears in Harry Potter's timeline, during Harry's summer after 5th year; and Harry of same timeline falls through to the 1940-s, when future Dark Lord is still in his sixth year at Hogwarts. Harry is abused by Vernon Dursley and can't take it anymore. While he is unconscious, loosing blood and life, the Horcrux inside him takes it upon itself to bring Harry to safety. ______________ This fic is AU, as most of events of 6 & 7 books/films are ignored. ______________ The title is again in Latin, as I'm overly fond of the language. Roughly it can be translated as "Soul Harmony", but it also includes many more meanings, and all of those fit, too. MPreg in later chapters . AU starting from the events in the DoM at the end of the fifth book/film. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This story was born on the spur of the moment as a means of procrastinating the task for my real job (translator), so it has very rough outline of a plan, plot twists created on the go. Meaning all the juicy bits (MPreg, Angst or Humor, on which side Harry is going to end etc.) are also undecided: I haven't even chosen yet who out of the two in the pairing would be the bearer, so to speak, of the children. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The title may be uderstood either literary, or as metaphor. Just another attempt at time-travel tomarry with an unexpected side-kick to spice the mixture

An incident separated seemingly 16-year old Tom from "modern" Voldemort. Tom starts a guerrilla war & revolt at the Death Eaters base. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This story is more or less planned (in comparison to my other texts). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Coup d'État" = Revolt, revolution, overturn (French). ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The line for the Epigraph was taken from the song "Double Trouble" by the Frog Choir. It was performed at the Hogwarts Welcoming Feast on 1 September 1993, as seen in the "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban" film. Harrymort with a twist: our favourite Dark Lord decided to go for less violent tactic, albeit quite kinky in itself. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Why this name? This actually expresses my own reasoning behind his pseudonim, or more like the lack of any reasons, the name I'd used just surfacing up from the deeps of my mind xD. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please mind the rating, as the reason behind it jumps at you almost from the very start, just narrowly missing the Prologue on its way xDD.

Harry goes back in the 1940-s to help Tom become something other than a mass-murdering megallomaniac. Will it turn out like Harry had planned? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 'Refrain' can be interpreted as 'to repeat' or as 'to hold back from doing something'.
