Madeline Gray is a normal 19 year old collage student living in Gotham. She is on her way to becoming a psychologist. Until she runs into Tarrent Tetch. Son of Jervis Tetch aka the Mad Hatter. She is then thrusted into the criminal world of Gotham when she finds her long lost family.

Melani Roseson is far from being normal. She doesn't even know that she's the evil monster that rampages in Gotham City at night, known by the Gotham people as the Dark Dragon. When she learns what she does at night, she runs away so she won't be confronted by Batman. Her running away leads her to a place known as Arkham Asylum. The people there seem to know Melani's problems so maybe joining them might link the key to her destiny.
