After losing both her parents, she gets kidnapped and is forced to go through a traumatizing experience before she manages to escape in which along the way, she crosses paths with Hijikata. The two grow close and she joins the Shinsengumi. All would be well if not for the fact that she has kept her feelings for Hijikata a secret since before the Shinsengumi formed. The last thing she wants is to wreck the bond between them. But for how long will she be able to hide her feelings?
