Yeah, this is personal writing to get things off my chest. My update's will be sporadic. You may wonder what the point of this is when I have Why Bother? but the big differences are 1. this assumes you have some insight into my personal life already and 2. this is all either non-fiction or stated to be otherwise. Why Bother? was all fiction, it was just a series of shorts. This is more a journal. IMPORTANT NOTE: !!!A warning that this may delve into some dark subjects in places. My brain goes bad sometimes!!!

ODE TO THE SPECIAL CHILD: No Prize this Year for the Ethically Gifted. Jeremy was a boy labeled by many as "special." Few knew, however, just how special he really was. This flash fiction (just 1000 words) is dedicated to all those in the world who have been judged or categorized as "special." Special in the negative sense, that they may lack certain expected abilities. But it is a stigma unfairly given them by their own myopic societies--people limited themselves in perceiving phenomenal talents which we can truly call "special." This is the case of one such boy. It is a short tale with a huge message. That we should recognize and acknowledge our most essential talents---found often where we least expect them. Jeremy's case is a lesson for all of us. Read this Flash Fiction and pass it on to others. The world needs more tolerance of diversity. And to learn to embrace and celebrate Emotional Intelligence: https://www.wattpad.com/story/68183543-ode-to-the-special-child

Where do a song go once it's over? The songs that touched you deep within, do they fade away from the lack of sound? Well, I believe, if you listen with your heart than your ears, then you can hear the story in the melody echoing inside you. I believe songs are about the relationship between words and music. To me songs tell a story through the lyrics. Sometimes happy. Sometimes sorrow. This is a compilation of short stories inspired by songs. Copyright © CrownedMadness | Maddy Alson 2014

The novel depicts the plight of the French peasantry demoralized by the French aristocracy in the years leading up to the revolution, the corresponding brutality demonstrated by the revolutionaries toward the former aristocrats in the early years of the revolution, and many unflattering social parallels with life in London during the same time period. It follows the lives of several protagonists through these events. The most notable are Charles Darnay and Sydney Carton. Darnay is a former French aristocrat who falls victim to the indiscriminate wrath of the revolution despite his virtuous nature, and Carton is a dissipated English barrister who endeavors to redeem his ill-spent life out of his unrequited love for Darnay's wife. "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland" tells of a girl named Alice who falls down a rabbit hole into a fantasy world populated by peculiar, anthropomorphic creatures. The tale plays with logic, giving the story lasting popularity with adults as well as children.
