{COMPLETED} She gave a sickening laugh and turned to stare at her four friends. "I was never normal! Do you hear me? Never! I will never be normal!" "Gracie, that's not true," He said quietly. She turned to glare at him. "Shut up, Sirius. You know nothing about me." "Gracie-" "Just, just forget it. Forget I ever existed, alright? It'll do you four some good." *I do not own Harry Potter or any artwork and/or pictures I use for covers. All credit goes to original owners.*

"She's not a normal human- she's a superhuman. Engineered, you could say. Faster, stronger, smarter. Better hearing, vision, smell. She could run to Japan, to and from in ten seconds. She could pick up the entire school. She could probably even calculate the hardest problems in her mind in five seconds." "She's dangerous," "I know. But it's a risk I'm willing to take," She had known she was never normal. She was different. Maybe she wasn't even human. She had no idea. It's a sad thing, not knowing who you are or where you come from. And not knowing if anyone was safe around you, for with all her powers combined, who knows what the possibilities are? *Marauders Era James Potter love story* *I do not own any pictures and/or artwork I may use for covers. I do not own Harry Potter or the Marauders. All credit goes to original owners.*

Ashlyn Cooper is a fifth year girl at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. She is an outcast and she has a "creepy issue", as her only two friends, Lily and Severus, call it. It's 1976, and the Wizarding World is changing in the blink of an eye. Finally free from silence, Lark Riddle doesn't know what to do with herself. Her older brother, Tom, is breathing down her neck from hundreds of miles away every moment, and she just might snap under the pressure. With a mother who birthed her into the worst-case-scenario and a father who has yet to be discovered, she feels as though there's no longer a net to fall into if she crumbles to the ground...because she's never felt love, and has a sneaking suspicion that she may be unable to. She's left her old friends, Severus Snape and the notorious Black sisters in her wake, and has yet to move on to bigger, brighter prospects: the Marauders. Sirius Black has more than enough on his shoulders. While he makes every move he can to stay away from his psychotic ex-family and their allies, rumor has it that there's a war on, and he'll be playing a bigger part in it than he expected. Though this talk of fighting and standing up for what's right is all so thrilling, he has a life, a reputation, and an education to uphold (and all three seem to be plummeting to certain doom at terminal velocity). Lark knows what it's like: feeling alone and living in a world of darkness where the only light is the hope that she can provide for herself, whether it's real or not, and chances are that she may be the only person who will ever make him feel the way that he does when he's around her. *ALL RIGHTS GO TO JK ROWLING; I DO NOT OWN HARRY POTTER. Note: In A Blink is the sequel to When She Spoke, which is highly advised that you read beforehand.

Madilin VanCourt. The VanCourts are famous for being rich, powerful, and prejudice against muggleborns. Sirius Black. The Blacks are famous for the same things. Every member of the two families is sorted into Slytherin, except for Madilin and Sirius. Neither family is happy, Mady and Sirius are outcasts, they should be best friends... right? Wrong! Madilin can't stand Sirius, who developed a crush on her in third year. When sixth year rolls around, the wizarding world is a mess. Voldemort, the darkest wizard the earth has ever seen, is on the rise. Muggleborns are slaughtered, purebloods are more powerful than ever, and Madilin finds herself forced to make a decision that no fifteen year old should make. Should she follow in her families footsteps, or follow her heart and do what's right? Disclaimer*** I initially wrote this story when I was eleven, five whole ass years ago. I'll be the first to admit that the writing in the first chunk of this story is fairly poor and many people have not been hesitant to tell me so through comments or direct messages. I truly can't believe that this has gotten the reception that it has and I am forever grateful to anyone who read this and helped boost the confidence of eleven year old me. I will never delete this story for sentimental reasons but I do feel the need to warn y'all that it is not my best piece of writing (though it is the one that's done the best so what do I know?)
